Andrea Hudak has healthcare in her blood. With a radiologist for a father and X-ray technician for a mother, she grew up in the Metro Detroit region with an interest with the human body, finding it, as she says, “fascinating and remarkable.”
After attending Ohio Northern for her bachelor’s degree in biology, she moved back to Michigan originally thinking she would head to physical therapy school. After doing a job shadow, however, she realized it might not be the path for her. Her father nudged her to look at becoming a physician assistant, which was when she had a lightbulb moment. She eventually enrolled in Ohio University’s PA program, earning her degree in 2018.
Andrea is thrilled to begin her career at ACV Centers, citing our commitment to patient care and continuous learning as a real draw. She has also been interested in vascular care since PA school, where her general surgery preceptor was a vascular surgeon, so she was able to assist on his cases. She now enjoys the intersection of patient-focused care and vascular medicine her new position at ACV provides.
When not working closely with her patients, she enjoys staying active and is a self-proclaimed foodie, sharing, “if I only had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be Thai.”
